David Austin; D.A. Roses

Shrub, dy, 1983

Medium cupped, double, buttery-yellow flowers. Good tea fragrance. Dark, glossy foliage.

A Vigorous bush for me. In three years, it has grown to the size of a Volkswagen beetle, even with moderately heavy-handed pruning. Almost always in bloom. I've seen this sold as a climber, and that's basically how I'm growing it. Oddly, a couple of other rosers in the area have not gotten it to grow well.
