Dark crimson-red blooms of classic form. Strong damask fragrance. A parent or distant parent of many, many later roses (HMF lists 5540 descendants!) including the very fragrant red HTs Chrysler Imperial, Mister Lincoln, Oklahoma, and Papa Meilland.

Rescued from a bag in a chain nursery in spring 2001.

A Gamble Fragrance Award winner.
